Chris Thile. I’ve pretty much been obsessed with him (and all of his musical ventures) lately.
Chris Thile amazes me in every way possible. Every thing he touches is gold in my eyes. I love/d Nickel Creek and I worship at the altar of Punch Brothers. Also, isn’t he dreamy?
One last thing! (Sorry for huge amount of pictures.)
Who has a box set of The Punch Brothers new cd Antifogmatic?
That would be me ^_^
I have this too! signed recipe book and all.
How To Grow A Woman From The Ground.
We’ll go ahead and say this is the Punch Brothers, because it’s them, they just didn’t have a name yet.
Sewed up my wrists, and sowed the ground with my blood. Stained up my clothes pretty good, and I turned that dirt to mud. I could not help but close my eyes, and lay my body down, ‘cause I’ve heard it takes forever to grow a woman from the ground. I bleed for you now, and I’m skinny as a rail. I’d be so obliged to keep you nice, and warm, and safe, and won’t you be so proud of me?
this always makes me happy.
Husband.
drool.
Love.
oh Chris, why do you do this to me?
Chris Thile and Michael Daves- My Little Girl in Tennessee.
Since I saw Chris Thile & Michael Daves live last month I have been unable to get this particular song out of my head. “Bury Me Beneath the Willow” is not a new song by any means. It’s a classic bluegrass tune that has been recorded by everyone from The Carter Family, to Alison Krauss, to Woody Guthrie-but Chris Thile & Michael Daves take the cake with their rendition. Maybe it’s the unexpected blend of their voices, or the careful and meticulous manner with which Chris strums every note, or the emotion drenched in every syllable, or maybe it’s all of these factors put together that makes my heart well inside my chest and my hair stand on end. Whatever it is, it makes me remember the power of a simple bluegrass song.
all of this!

Dear Chris,
I do not know what I will do with myself if you ever stop being ridiculously hot and talented. So, please don’t ever stop.
Love, Tiffany
