made it through yesterday. The sun did indeed rise this morning and we are all still here. Today is day one and I intend to make it as positive as possible.  Thanks again to everyone for your thoughts and well-wishes. Please continue to think of our family, especially my brother, as we try to heal as best we can.

I am absolutely dreading tomorrow.  It hurts so bad and I keep allowing myself to think that none of this is real. But then I snap back into reality and it’s painful each time. I’ve come to cherish the haze I am in when my alarm clock wakes me and I can’t quite remember where I am or what day it is. It’s fleeting but I look forward to having that brief moment of peace...
